As you all know, 18th August 2013 was the last day to submit your photographs so we’ve officially stopped accepting any images. We are both pleased and overwhelmed with the response that we’ve received from all of our members and for that I’d like to thank you all.
This photo contest rejuvenated a sense of euphoria of being free, sovereign as well as a sense of pride in all of us at Zameen’s headquarters and it most certainly reflected in most of the images you uploaded as well. Our armed forces and security agencies invoke the kind of passion in us that makes us all feel proud to be Pakistanis. With the recent unrest in the country, there is an increased need for all of us to stand behind our armed forces.
I am dedicating this blog post to our armed and security forces who are ready to sacrifice their very lives to protect this Land of Pure.
