Islamabad: Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) recently introduced a mobile application for consumers to pay their gas bills remotely, a news source reported.
As per the publication, the Petroleum Division directed both the SNGPL and the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to take steps to facilitate the consumers during the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Subsequently, the SNGPL launched its application through which its consumers can view their bill details and pay their dues online. Reportedly, the SSGC is also expected to make the same bill application available for its consumers soon.
It was further revealed that the gas bills for the coming months could be submitted in three easy instalments amid the coronavirus outbreak. Additionally, the bills can be paid through digital payment, mobile banking, and online banking.

Due to the crisis posed by the Covid-19 outbreak, the prices of petroleum products have been sliced by PKR 15. This move was aimed at helping the general public through the relief package announced recently by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
