Rawalpindi: An investigative team of Anti-Corruption Department Rawalpindi has declared six plazas on Murree Road illegal, according to a news source. These plazas were built against the building bylaws and their building plans were also not approved.
The team was formed by Anti-Corruption Department Director Arif Rahim, and declared these six plazas illegal after careful investigation. According to their findings, some of the staff of Town Municipal Authority (TMA) were involved in the construction of these plazas. The teams also identified these TMA staff and proposed legal action against them.
Reportedly, a report has also been filed against them in the Anti-Corruption Police Station in Rawalpindi. For further investigation, a three-member committee has also be formed, which is instructed to submit a report on an urgent basis.
