Multan: A survey to identify areas for setting up new industries in the city is to begin soon, according to a news source. The decision was taken in a meeting headed by Multan Deputy Commissioner Nadir Chatta, where it was also agreed upon to implement international-standard safety checks in the existing units.
Addressing the session, Chatta said that committee formed for this purpose will identify new areas by thoroughly considering on-ground facts and also form terms of reference for inspection of industries. The members of the meeting, which represented Planning Department and related offices from the industrial sector also shared their suggestions.
