Lahore: An urban and infrastructure consulting firm from Singapore has expressed its interest in assisting the government for developing low-cost houses under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), a news source reported.

Hari Poologasungram, CEO of Surbana Jurong (SJ), expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed.
Task Force on Housing Chairman Zaigham Rizvi and Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) Director General Liaquat Chattha were also present at the occasion.
The four-member Singaporean delegation presented several proposals with respect to the development of affordable houses under the NPHP project.

In response, the housing minister appreciated the firm for offering its expertise. He said that the government would benefit from Surbana Jurong’s assistance.
