Karachi: The Sindh Minister of Agriculture Department Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar has announced the forthcoming launch of the Kissan Card scheme in Sindh, as reported by a news source on June 7.

As per the details, this initiative aims to provide solar subsidies to deserving farmers, emphasising the need for the department to intensify its efforts in supporting farmers. The minister pledged to offer improved seeds, fertilizers, and other essential facilities to enhance agricultural yields and the livelihoods of farmers.

Addressing attendees at a ceremony held at the Scout Auditorium, the minister urged department employees to strive for excellence and emphasised the importance of raising awareness and extending support to farmers. Additionally, he recognized the dedication of 26 employees who were promoted after ten years of service.
Secretary of Agriculture, Rafeeq Ahmed Buriro, also addressed the audience, highlighting the department’s commitment to employee advancement and farmer education.
