Karachi: The Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF) and Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Sindh, revealed in a September 6 article.

The ceremony, held at the Sindh Secretariat, saw the two organisations align to drive economic growth and create jobs by facilitating SMEs. SED, established by the Sindh Government, has already made a significant impact by attracting private investments, while SSIC will support SMEs by providing industrial plots.
Minister for Industries & Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Khan Dharejo, emphasised the importance of this partnership for Sindh’s industrialisation, particularly in new industrial zones, which will offer opportunities for entrepreneurs and generate employment.

Senior officials, including Secretary Industries & Commerce Yasin Shar Baloch and CEO of SEDF Khizar Pervaiz, echoed the potential of this collaboration in promoting economic development and empowering local businesses.
