According to the details, this initiative comes in response to ongoing issues related to delays and allegations of bribery in property matters such as mutation, sales certificates, inheritance entries, land demarcation, partitioning, and solvency certificates. The Senior Member of the Board of Revenue (SMBR) issued the notification outlining the formation of these cells, which will be led by Deputy Commissioners.
The complaint cells will record all grievances in dedicated registers, which will then be forwarded to Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars at the taluka level for resolution. To enhance accessibility, all complaints will be computerized. SMBR has directed Deputy Commissioners to conduct biweekly meetings to expedite the resolution process and to meet with complainants weekly. They are also responsible for submitting performance reports of their cells to the divisional commissioners.
