Karachi: The Sindh Revenue Board on Tuesday – through notification No.SRB-3-4/12/2021 – announced substantial relief for Sales Tax defaulters to settle outstanding dues before June 31 and receive a waiver on surcharges and late payment fines, according to an advert published in national dailies.
The relief is valid from June 22 to June 30, 2021. According to the information on the official website and advertisements, depositing tax before the expiration of aforementioned deadline would result in a 100% penalty relief and a 90% default surcharge exemption.
