The minister said that the presence of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in flood relief and reconstruction efforts will ensure transparency in fund allocation and distribution. He stated that the administration has opted to work with the same NGO that surveyed the flood-affected districts earlier. The government had originally allotted PKR 50 billion in this regard, out of a total needed budget of PKR 350 billion.
