Karachi: The Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC) has notified a 50% discount offer on accommodations in all state-owned resorts and motels ahead of the World Tourism Day – celebrated every year on September 27, a news source reported.

The directives in this regard were issued by Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Syed Sardar Ali Shah, who termed the offer as a ‘gift’ for tourists. He further stated that coming Sunday would mark the World Tourism Day, which ‘gives families a great opportunity to visit the local tourist sites by spending 50% less on all motels and resorts owned by the Sindh government’.

The offer is valid only for a day, the minister said; urging the local tourists to avail the discount and explore the beauty of Sindh.
