Karachi: Sindh Minister for Industries, Commerce and Cooperative Department Jam Ikramullah Dharejo recently said that the provincial government would take measures to address the concerns of the affectees of cooperative housing schemes in the province, a news source reported.

He expressed these views during his meeting with the affectees of various housing schemes and their attorney at the former’s office. Minister Dharejo also indicated to take legal action against those found involved in committing frauds against the general public.
Commenting on the alleged corrupt practices, the minister said that some nefarious elements in the property sector deprived people of their wealth by luring their investments in fake projects.

Dharejo affirmed to take legal action against such developers and managements of cooperative housing schemes. He also announced that he would visit the offices of such schemes along with concerned officials in his bid to address the affectees’ concerns on the spot.
