Karachi: The Sindh government has launched a job portal to provide employment opportunities to job seekers across the province. The initiative aims to connect skilled individuals with both government and private sector employers, offering a streamlined platform for job matching.
The launch ceremony was attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, and business community representatives.
Speaking at the event, Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon highlighted that 65% of Pakistan’s population comprises youth, and the job portal is designed to address their employment needs. He stated that the platform allows both educated individuals and skilled workers to upload their CVs, ensuring a broader range of job opportunities.

Memon further noted that while many young people aspire to government jobs, the portal will also connect them with private sector employers, expanding their career options. Additionally, the platform will feature employment opportunities linked to development projects like the People’s Housing Scheme, creating jobs for skilled labor.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized that the job portal will facilitate greater transparency in recruitment. He announced that government job vacancies for grades 1 to 4 will be posted on the portal, while positions for grades 5 to 15 will be filled through the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) to ensure a fair hiring process.
The chief minister also revealed that temporary job opportunities would be linked to the platform, broadening its scope. He urged both job seekers and employers to register, noting that the more talent and opportunities come together, the greater the province’s economic progress.
