Khan stated that workers from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), K Electric (KE), and the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) should be deployed at these centres in order to provide round the clock assistance to the public and to quickly resolve all rain-related issues. He added that the centres should particularly come equipped with water pumping machines for quickly clearing standstill waters from the streets, which disrupts the flow of traffic during the Monsoon season.
