- The Out Patient Departments (OPD) at hospitals are closed.
- Public Restaurants will be closed down, except for takeaway service.
- Shopping malls will be shut down, except for the grocery departments.
- Pharmacies and utility stores will remain open. So will the vegetable and meat outlets.
- Public parks, sea view beaches are also closed to the public.
- Inter-city bus services have been discontinued until further notice.
