Karachi: Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori presided over an inaugural ceremony organised by the Karachi Port Trust (KPT), where he unveiled a plaque to mark the opening of a road connecting Khamis Gate (also known as Gate No. 1 of Karachi Port) and Oil Pier-1. The news surfaced on February 16.

According to the details, the rehabilitation of this road was initiated by KPT to address the persistent issue of traffic congestion experienced by port users. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) Chairman Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed along with senior management officials of KPT.

Addressing the audience during the ceremony, Sindh Governor emphasised the importance of taking individual initiatives and resolving them with personal dedication, stating that it is crucial for success.
