Karachi: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmad Shaikh has assured the local oil and gas companies of his government’s full cooperation with regard to the development of infrastructure at the mineral exploration sites, a news source reported.
He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting held to review various policies. He said that a one-window facility would be introduced to resolve the issues faced by the companies. Further, he urged these organisations to work for the creation of employment opportunities as well as social welfare development.
He asked the companies to provide the Energy Department with the list of facilities these organisations were providing to the locals. Officials of the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, MPCL, Mari Petroleum PEL, UEP, and ENI were all present the occasion.
