Karachi: In pursuance of its ease-of-doing-business initiative, the Sindh government has abolished its fee requirement for registering shops in the province, a news source quoted Sindh Minister for Information & Labour Saeed Ghani as saying.

The minister revealed this information while briefing journalists following a meeting of the provincial cabinet on Tuesday. Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the meeting.
Ghani revealed that individuals who seek to establish new business outlets in the province would not have to pay the registration fee from now onwards. He added that businesspersons could register their new shop online without paying any fee.

He stated that the CM had stressed on the importance of the first cabinet meeting of the year by directing all officials to vow for staying committed towards the welfare of the people. He also ordered all departments to complete ongoing development works as soon as possible.
