Karachi: Governor Kamran Tessori has unveiled the “Governor Sindh Initiative” aimed at providing financial support to the city’s unemployed youth to kickstart their own businesses. In a recent press conference, he announced plans to allocate funds ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 10 million to aspiring entrepreneurs with viable business proposals.
According to a news report, Tessori assured young individuals of full financial backing and support for their ventures. He also mentioned the commitment of funds from overseas Pakistanis, affluent business people, and specific non-governmental organizations, urging interested parties to submit their proposals to the Governor House.

Highlighting the initiative’s objective of empowering educated youth to become job creators, Tessori outlined a transparent process for evaluating proposals by experts and allocating funds based on merit.
In response to inquiries, he revealed plans to expand the Governor House’s IT program to other parts of Sindh and the availability of donors for organizing IT courses in six districts. Tessori confirmed the establishment of a dedicated fund for the employment scheme, expressing confidence in the prime minister’s support for his initiatives.
