Islamabad: Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail recently briefed Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan about the ongoing projects in Karachi, a news source reported. The governor called on the PM to inform him about the progress of several projects in the city, including the K-4 water supply project.
Governor Ismail also invited PM Khan to visit Karachi. Accepting the invitation, the premiere has decided to visit the city on July 11. This information was revealed by a press release from the PM Office.

According to sources, the PM will visit Karachi along with his economic team, and is expected to meet the business community.
In a recent development, Minister of Sindh for Local Government Saeed Ghani invited political parties, traders, industrialists, and other stakeholders to help address the persistent issues of water and sewerage, and garbage disposal in Karachi. The minister also specifically directed the district municipal commissioners (DMCs) to clean the streets and storm drains before monsoon rains begin.
