Karachi: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has called a meeting on February 24 to assess the work on the ongoing federal govt funded projects in Karachi, according to news sources.
The Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to launch seven projects in Karachi in mid-February however but further work on the construction of adjacent roads could defer the launch of these projects. Earlier, the Sindh Governor Imran Ismail had given February 7 as a deadline for the completion of the projects.

Reportedly, Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi flyover is expected to be completed by Feb 26 and Five Star Chowrangi flyover will be completed on Feb 28. Likewise, the KDA Chowrangi flyover is also likely to be completed in February.
On the other hand, the construction work on federal govt funded Nishtar road and Manghopir road phase-I has been finished, simultaneously the repairs of adjacent roads to three flyovers at Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi, KDA Chowrangi and Five Star Chowrangi are currently in-progress and expected to be near completion. The inauguration of all five projects will be headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
