In a press conference, Minister of Transport Sharjeel Memon stated that the project’s main goal was to increase mobility, accessibility, and safety along the Yellow BRT line alignment. The Sindh government will purchase 32 acres of land in Bhans colony to build a biogas plant, as both the Yellow and Red Line bus projects would run on locally generated gas. He stated that the World Bank (WB) and the Bank of France will fund the project, which will cost PKR 61 billion to complete.
