He expressed his views on the matter during a special meeting on Tuesday. Secretary Cooperation Department Akhtar Inayat was also present at the occasion.
Minister Pitafi regretted that the department had to intervene in the matters of cooperative societies due to personal differences of the stakeholders concerned. He stated that this practice would be put to an end.
To facilitate this measure, at least 12 cooperative societies will organise elections. Elected members will be tasked with looking after the matters of these projects.
