Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday (October 27) reviews the progress of 19 uplift projects launched under the Karachi mega projects with a cost of PKR 14.67 billion, according to news sources.

As per the details, these mega projects include 13 new projects worth PKR 7.57 billion and six ongoing projects being executed at the cost of PKR 7.1 billion. The chief minister ordered Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab to monitor the quality and execution of the construction work.
During the meeting held at the chief minister’s residence, CM Shah directed the administrator to beautify the entry and exit points of the city and clear encroachments from Sohrab Goth. He further asked the administrator to beautify the Submarine Chowrangi underpass. The chief minister that it is an important underpass located in the middle of Defence and Clifton, which needs to look beautiful.

Moreover, CM Shah was informed that the U-turn at Natha Khan work has been 70% complete and the remaining work is in progress at a steady pace. The minister asked to quickly complete the remaining work to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
