Karachi: In a meeting chaired by the Sindh Chief Minister Maqbool Baqar at CM House in Karachi, the Sindh cabinet approved funds for various development projects, as reported by a news source on December 27.

The approved funds include PKR 1.1 billion for the construction of a link road interchange. However, the news report does not specify the location where this link road interchange will be constructed.
The other projects for which the Sindh Cabinet approved the funds include:
Electric Buses: A sum of PKR 768.6 million is approved for operating 50 electric buses on city roads.
Subsidy for People’s Buses: A subsidy of PKR 579.756 million is granted for intra-district people’s buses.
Khirthar National Park: An amount of PKR 33.956 million is approved for the boundary demarcation and fixing of boundary pillars in Khirthar National Park.
West District Schools: PKR 1424.720 million is allocated for the reconstruction of three schools in the West district.
Hindu Gymkhana Restoration: Rs 115 million is approved for the restoration of the Hindu Gymkhana.

The meeting was attended by provincial caretaker ministers, Chief Secretary Dr Fakhre Alam, P&D Chairman Sahkil Mangnejo, and other concerned officers.
