Karachi: A USD 400 million infrastructural project, Sindh Cities Improvement Investment Program (SCIP) is funded by Asian Development Bank. According to a news report, the project is aimed at improving water supply in urban centres, as well as managing wastewater and solid waste.
Government of Sindh is seeking investment and introducing reforms in Northern Sindh, with the help of Planning and Development Department (P&DD) and six Town Municipal Authorities (TMAs). These have formed a North Sindh Urban Service Cooperation (NSUSC), which will aim at improving urban infrastructure and services, urban environment, public health, and creating economic opportunities.
