Karachi: The Sindh government on Wednesday launched its ‘Sindh Business Registration Portal’ (SBRP), alongside an initiative aimed at tracking property deeds, at the Sindh Doing Business Reforms Exhibition-II event – a news source reported.

The Sindh Board of Investment organised this event in collaboration with the World Bank and the Department for International Development (DFID), United Kingdom.
SBRP has been programme to act as an online regulator for businesses. The purpose of this facility is to ensure that businesses get registered swiftly and efficiently.
This portal will provide access to four provincial departments: Labour and HR Department (Shops and Establishments); Sindh Employees Social Security Institution; Industries Department (Partnership Firms), and Excise & Taxation.

SBRP would act as liaison between provincial and federal departments such as the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
