Green City Islamabad is one of the housing societies located in the vicinity of New Islamabad International Airport. The project is situated on Fateh Jang road and is accessible from the airport. Please see the image below to have an idea of the exact location:

Approvals
An important question might have popped up in your mind at this point: is this project approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)? According to a society official, the project has obtained approval from the CAA and is located 8 kilometres away from the airport parameters, which means if you will invest here, you do not need to worry about CAA-related issues.
Furthermore, the society also has the approval of the Town Municipal Administration of Fateh Jang.
Bookings
Bookings are currently open for different categories of residential plots in Block A. These plots are available on instalments spread over 3 years.
Please see the table below to have an idea of the payment plan:
Plot size | Total Cost of Land | Down Payment | Quarterly Instalment | Total Instalments |
5 Marlas | PKR 1,100,000 | PKR 220,000 | PKR 73,333 | 12 |
8 Marlas | PKR 1,600,000 | PKR 320,000 | PKR 106,666 | 12 |
10 Marlas | PKR 1,900,000 | PKR 380,000 | PKR 126,666 | 12 |
1 Kanal | PKR 3,000,000 | PKR 600,000 | PKR 200,000 | 12 |
Discount
The developer is offering a discount of up to PKR 300,000 on instalments if you will book a plot before February 25. Obviously, the value of the discount will differ for different plot categories. After this date, you will not be able to avail any price reductions.
Development
Development work is underway at a good pace in the block. I have learned that the developer has completed ground levelling and street cuttings and is now concentrating on the main roads. Please see the images below to get an idea of the development work in the society.

Should you invest?
The project has many attractions and the most important one is its proximity to New Islamabad International Airport. The completion of the airport will certainly provide a boost to the society. Moreover, the cost of land is pretty affordable at the moment, which will increase manifold as development work progresses.
And last but not the least, the society has all the necessary approvals. So, from where I see it, Green City Islamabad seems to be a good project from investment. But I would suggest you do your homework before making any investment moves.
I have shared all the information I could get about the project. If you would like to add up to this, please feel free to do so in the comments section below.

Dear Amir,
The project is located on Fateh Jang Road and has an approval from TMA Fateh Jang, which means it is not located in CDA’s ambit.

zain Nadeem
Thanks
You are welcome
Most fraud happens in instalment schemes. In the beginning developer shows some enthusiasm when he needs money. Once pockets full then who cares and moves to next project even he is an honest person. People who buy on instalments are those who can not afford to buy on advance payment are suffering the most. So developer credibility in terms of previous history of delivery is most important thing than discounts.
Who ever is looking to invest in such schemes don’t go after rosy promises and glossy pictures. These developers ditch people every where and in every city. So be cautious before you make decision to invest.
Zahid Bhai, I agree with you. That’s why I always suggest investors do their proper homework before signing any deal and do not rely on everything their hear from sources.

zain Nadeem
