Lahore: The Punjab government has announced its decision to close shopping malls, restaurants, and other shops in Lahore at 10 pm in an effort to control the coronavirus transmission in the province.

According to details, the Punjab Apex Committee held a meeting to discuss the possible measures for controlling the coronavirus transmission in the province. To facilitate this measure, it proposed the closure of all major shopping malls, restaurants, and other shops at 10pm on a daily basis.
The committee members stated that the provincial government would not allow any commercial activities after 10pm in the city. They added that this measure would limit the movement of the citizens.

Meanwhile, some traders working in Lahore’s Akbari Market have requested a lockdown of the market for coronavirus prevention; further stating that the facility is located in a densely populated area of the city.
