Karachi – On 31 December, 2013, the SBCA (Sindh Building Control Authority) served SHC (Sindh High Court) with a notice for demolishing a residential building of PTI’s leader, Mr. Arif Alvi.
According to SBCA, the building was constructed in violation of the building regulations. In response, Dr. Alvi submitted that he was a legal owner of plot no. 32, Block 4, Clifton and obtained building plan for constructing the house.
In this regard, Sindh High Court issued orders for restraining SBCA from demolishing the residential property of Dr. Iftikhar Alvi.
