Karachi: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has granted permission to the Bahria Town (BT) to continue construction work on the high-rise building ‘Opal 225’ in line with the approved building plan.
The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) had issued two notices to the BT to carry out construction in accordance to the approved plan. In response, the BT filed a lawsuit in SHC to seek an injunction against CBC. Plaintiff’s counsel told the court that the CBC gave approval to the Zaradari Group for construction of high-rise building on Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan Road. Both BT and Zardari Group entered a joint venture for the construction of the building, he added.
Khan also claimed that the construction was being carried as per approved plan and requested the court to restrain CBC from taking any action in pursuance of its notices.
