Lahore: The pace of construction work on Shaukat Khanum Flyover has been increased, allowing the project to get completed in two months instead of three, according to a news source. At the moment, work on project is over 50% complete, where pre-cast retaining wall panels have been prepared, while planning for construction of U-turns on the Southern Bypass has also been completed.
As per the previous estimates, the project was to complete in a timeframe of three months but due to issuance of work permit on time, the work pace was increased in the last month, reducing completion time for the project.
