Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, met the delegation of Green Town and Township PML (N) workers and leaders and demanded a report regarding the upgrading of primary school to high school in Pir Kalan village and allotting proprietary rights to the residents of Gawala Colony at Rukh Chand Rai.
The Chief Minister also took notice against complaints regarding sewerage system, portable water and exorbitant commercialization fees in the area. Naseer Ahmed Bhutta and Ramzan Siddique Bhatti were also present during the meeting.
Chief Minister blamed federal government and called them a gang that has brought the country to its knees but upcoming general elections will prove their worth.
He also said that hundreds and thousands of people are jobless due to current unstable economy and industries have come to a catastrophic end due to load-shedding. The country is passing through its worst phase and people have to bear the load-shedding during iftar and sehar.
He highlighted that two power projects at Chicho ki Malyian and Nandipur could not be made operational because of incompetence and corruption of the federal government. He further declared that machinery related to these projects is already there on Karachi port for over one and a half year.
