Karachi: Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail announced that a number of major projects in the city, including Karachi’s Green Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, have reached their final stages and will be completed by February next year — a news source reported.

Governor Ismail made these announcements while talking to the media after a visit to the site of the under-development Green Line project. According to the information available, some of the other projects mentioned included the construction of Mangho and Nishtar Road, and the development of 6 flyovers in the North Nazimabad area. These projects are expected to be completed by February 7, 2020 and are aimed at improving traffic flow within the city.

The governor said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would be extended an invitation to visit the city on February 7 and inaugurate the projects that are expected to have been completed by that date. He added that the federal government had completed its share of the work on the Green Line project and that it would feature modern facilities for the convenience of its passengers.
