Sibbi: Government of Balochistan has completed its planning process to set up Rescue 1127 Centre in seven districts, similar to the rescue centres operating in Punjab, a news source quoted Ex-Interim Information Minister Malik Khurram Shehzad. These districts include Dera Murad Jamali, Sibbi, Khuzdar, Dera Bugti, Lora Lai, Chaman Qila Abdullah, and Lasbela.
Setting up of Rescue 1127 Centres will help provide prompt medical assistance to the people of Balochistan and to those travelling on highways and thus save many lives. In this regard, official letters have also been issued to the respective deputy commissioners of these districts.
The rescue centres will have four fully equipped ambulances, two modern fire brigades, 4 fire fighter motorcycles and a water bowser. Rescue vans will also have all the needed gadgets attached to carry out rescue operations.
He also revealed that Sibbi Rescue 1127 Centre will be made functional in 2019 and recruitment in this regard will start soon.
