Lahore: The Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) on Thursday allocated Mobile Arazi Record Centres to seven districts of the province in a bid to provide timely and transparent land record services to the public, according to news published on July 29.

The newly-allocated Mobile Arazi Record Centres will be available in, Multan, Lahore, Bahawalpur Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Rawalpindi on Wednesday and Thursday, each week.

Reportedly, PLRA DG presided over a weekly meeting held to review the progress/performance of field staff in the province. The attendees of the meeting were informed that over 50,000 mutations were sorted in the last month and over 20,000 pending tasks were completed. On average, over 80% of the users at all Land Record Centres were given Fard in less than 30 minutes.
