Islamabad: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mr Najam Sethi has announced the construction of a cricket stadium in Islamabad.
“Constriction will be started within six months and we will endeavour to execute construction work as quickly as possible,” Sethi told a news source.
The news source reported further that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) had allotted land to PCB at no cost in the National Park area in Shakarparian. The PCB had begun construction work after getting possession of the land but it was interrupted when the CDA demanded an Environmental Impact Assessment report on the project.
