Islamabad: The Senate’s Standing Committee on Defence has approved the sub-committees’ report for acquiring land for DHA Quetta, according to a news report. The report was presented before the committee on Wednesday, in a meeting presided by Lt. General (R) Salahuddin Tirmizi.
It was agreed upon in the meeting that amendments are needed in the Balochistan Revenue Act for making payments to landowners. The meeting also discussed other related matters, for which approvals are expected to be issued soon.
