A meeting was held in which the FGEHA Director General informed the committee that four projects initiated in 2020 faced delays due to a significant surge in material prices. Despite a 34% booking in Chaklala Heights Apartments, work had to be halted. The DG emphasized that new contracts would be awarded based on current rates.
Senator Afnanullah Khan expressed concern over the delayed commencement of the project, emphasizing that prior assurances had been given to the committee regarding its timely initiation.
