Peshawar: Speakers at a seminar titled “CPEC: Peace & Development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” agreed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stands to gain significantly from CPEC; provided there is thorough planning and execution by the provincial and federal governments, reports a news source.
The seminar was organised by the University of Peshawar’s China Study Centre and was attended by some of the most prominent scholars, educationists, and journalists of the province.
The conference highlighted the opportunities presented by CPEC for Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and stressed the need for the utilisation of these opportunities, particularly to the benefit of the underdeveloped areas in FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
