Islamabad: The Sector I-14 allottees have threatened to take legal action against the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for not providing them plots even after eight years.
The allottees visited the civic body’s office and warned employees of legal consequences because the latter did not
have an answer to their issues.
There are around 680 people affected by the situation in Sector I-14, where plots were cancelled when the CDA redesigned the sector in 2005-06. Since then, the affected individuals have not been compensated. The issue came to light when the allottees wanted to build houses on their plots and found out that the plots existed only on paper.
