In an attempt to sort the Bahria Town Lahore’s Sector F issue, which is pending since the last several years, the developer made an offer to those affected by this particular block. According to that offer, the details of which were made official by Bahria Town in April this year, Sector F file owners could apply for same sized alternate plots in some blocks in Bahria Town Karachi (BTK).
This offer has now been rejected by people who have invested in Sector F; read on to find out the current situation.
An offer they couldn’t refuse?
When Bahria Town rolled out its BTK offer many thought that Sector F investors would go for it. The latest in this regard is that these file owners want nothing but plots in Bahria Town Lahore. According to my sources, the offer could intrigue only a small number of file owners.
Ever since the offer was made, Sector F file owners started a new protest campaign, which was stronger than all their previous campaigns. File owners are more organised this time and they are all on the same page about their demands.
According to my sources, those affected by BTL Sector F had a meeting with Bahria Town Country Head Sales Shahid Qureshi on May 22, who came prepared to sort out their concerns. After realising that Sector F file owners will not settle for anything other than plots in the same locality, Qureshi made some commitments with them. People will be adjusted in phases.
In the first phase, around 1,200 file owners will be accommodated. Bahria Town is to launch one more block in Sector F, i.e. Tauheed Block, which can accommodate about 400 file owners. There’s no information on where the rest of the allottees will be accommodated.
At the moment, there are over 2,000 Sector F file owners waiting for a resolution. Compared to this, the adjustment of 400 or 1,200 file owners means there will still be some people whose problems will not be resolved. Qureshi has asked for a six-month time frame to adjust all Sector F file owners, while my sources believe that it might take a year or so.
According to the latest information, some of these file owners have also received their allotment letters for Sector F’s Tauheed Block. The information has made other file owners hopeful that a resolution may well be in sight.
What’s in store
Bahria Town claims that it has ample land to adjust Sector F file owners. According to some news sources, the developer is also purchasing more land around the route of the Lahore Ring Road (LRR)’s under-construction southern loop.
Getting an alternate plot here could also mean getting possession. On the other hand, possession is not available in any block of Sector F, while maps for just a couple of these blocks have been shared so far.
It remains to be seen how the situation will unfold. How do you all feel about this issue? Are there any investors reading this blog? Sound off in the comments section below.
situation is still uncertain and all investers are unsheltered.

You have mentioned in your last few lines that no possession is given in any block of sector F. I believe you need to update your information BTL is issuing possessions for Ghaznavi and other blocks already on ground.
