Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Director (Land) Afnan Alam announced the exclusion of all those houses built after the land award in Sector C-15 from the Built-up Property (BuP) award survey, news sources reported. The CDA will only consider houses present at the time of award of land for BuP claims in Sector C-15, located in Dhoke Baba Ashraf on Margalla Road.

According to the reports, the deputy commissioner of CDA would announce the BuP award soon. The most recent survey of the sector, which counts the houses erected on the purchased property and serves as the basis for compensation, was done in 2016. The CDA allots plots to people whose land it acquires for the development of a sector under the rules. It also compensates the owners of built-up property (BuP).

It is worth noting that the land and the BuP awards of Sector C-15 was announced years ago, but the BuP awards for Dhoke area are still to be announced. Owing to the fact the land award was released first, delaying the BuP by years, which has resulted in the construction of new residences.
