Rawalpindi: The Secretary Excise has directed all excise officials and staff to meet all revenue collection targets by June 30, a news source reported. The secretary gave the orders on his visit to the Excise Office, Rawalpindi, and the Excise Sahulat Centre, Satellite Town.
On the visit, he inspected the offices of various departments, and was informed about the current state of tax recovery.
After inspecting the various departments, he also met a number of officials who hailed from them.
On the occasion, he further chaired a meeting to discuss the property, motor and excise tax recoveries. The Excise &Taxation Officers (ETOs) of all the four districts of Rawalpindi division and Director Excise & Taxation Rawalpindi were present at the session.
