Sargodha: The Sargodha Development Authority (SDA) recently announced it had approved its budget worth PKR 75.5 million for the year 2019-2020, a news source reported. The announcement was made by officials of SDA while talking to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

The budget was approved during a meeting of the board of directors of the authority, which was presided over by SDA Chairman Mumtaz Akhtar Kahloon. As per the budget announcement, the authority decided to generate:
- PKR 1.35 million from shops located in the Trust Plaza
- PKR 0.5 million from fines
- PKR 5 million from Model Town Housing Society
- PKR 3 million from transfer cases of societies and plazas
- PKR 3.181 million from allotment of shops in the Trust Plaza
- PKR 0.6 million through billboard advertisements
- PKR 6.5 million from a cycle stand contract

Moreover, the SDA officials stated that a master plan for the city was under preparation; adding that the civic agency would soon introduce its own division of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).
