Islamabad: The Supreme Court (SC)’s Diamer-Bhasha Dam Fund has so far collected over PKR 860 million, as per a news story. According to the SC, on 13th August, over PKR 20 million were collected, which had increased on a daily basis since the Fund was launched.
Overseas Pakistanis have also contributed generously to the Fund with over PKR 6,900,000 given as donations. While on the other hand, the permanent residents have donated over PKR 850 million up until now. From the SMS service, PKR 30 million have been collected, from online transfer PKR 20 million, whereas over PKR 770 million, have been collected from different banks.
