Karachi: The Sindh Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved schemes worth PKR 10.3 billion on Thursday, a news source reported. In a meeting chaired by Chairman Planning and Development Board, Muhammad Waseem, the faculty sanctioned nine schemes.

Among these, one scheme is worth over PKR 200 million in development expenses. It is concerned with the establishment of a Women Development Complex in Sukkur. Two others are aimed at Livestock and Fisheries, and Forest and Wildlife respectively.
The Board approved two non-ADP schemes for the Home Department. These will also cover the construction expenses of a two-storey malkhana at City Court, Karachi – expected to cost over PKR 29 million.

Another four ADP schemes, costing over PKR 3,000 million, were also given the green signal. These include various projects for the health, agriculture, and education departments. One project for local government is also included.
The Board also approved the extension of services at SIUT Karachi.
