Islamabad: The Supreme Court has directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to not take any action against illegal marquees, according to a news report. The SC has asked the CDA to stop all inquiries until the federal government would look into the matter on its own. The apex court has also asked the CDA to unseal two marquees in H-13 until it hears the case.
The CDA has also been criticised for not following through on zoning regulations in Zone III and has also been asked to come up with an extensive master plan for the city. The Chief Justice has asked Tahir Shahbaz, who has also served as the CDA Chairman, to look into the matter and submit a detailed report within a week.
