Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued a written order to immediately remove encroachments along Korang Nullah, reported a news source. The apex court issued the orders while it heard the Korang Nullah Encroachment case.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar instructed capital administration and Islamabad Police to assist the Capital Development Authority in the operation against encroachers and submit a report in 2 weeks.
The court’s order also mentions that it should be ensured that encroachments aren’t set up again. While the registrar office is also instructed to present report in this regard after every 15 days. It was also clarified that no other court can rule out SC’s verdict against the encroachments as its order is the final order.
