During the hearing, the counsel for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) told the court that around 75% of the construction in Bani Gala is irregular or illegal and stands to be demolished under the law. The court told the civic body to do anything it wanted as long as it is done in accordance with law.
Justice Bandial lamented that CDA had delayed in preparation of a framework to regularise the houses built in Bani Gala and allowed a week to present the details.
